Please join the Brown Forum for Enterprise and the Rhode Island Business Plan Competition on May 1 at Business Expo 2007 at the Rhode Island Convention Center. At this special event, all six finalists from the student and entrepreneur tracks will make brief presentations of their plans and the winners of the competition will be announced by the judges.
A celebratory cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception will follow, and all six finalists will display a poster describing their business plans during the reception. Attendance is free of charge, but pre-registration online is required by clicking here.
The winners from each of the 2 tracks (Entrepreneur track and Student track) will receive the following prize:
- $25,000 cash
- $20,000 in legal services
- $10,000 in accounting services
- $2,500 in VC consulting services
The Rhode Island Business Plan Competition seeks to promote entrepreneurship and the development of start-up and early stage companies in Rhode Island.
